New female betta :D

After school my friend invited me to drive around with her! We stopped by my local Petco and I was horrified. I've never seen bettas that sick in my life! HUGE pop eye, body COVERED in white fluff... ugh it made me want to throw up >:[ I left a note on the worst cup and stormed out of there. That Petco always had bettas in pristine conditions. I'm disappointed.

Then we went to Petsmart and I was very surprised! Although the males' tails were curling, their female stock was fantastic! There must have been 30! I shuffled through them and had to narrow 5 of my favorites down to one! And here she is! :D Doing amazing in my tropical community tank!!! <3

It's way too overstocked. I'm going to give away either my 3 platies or 3 female guppies. (I'm thinking that if I keep the plain female guppies, my betta will be the most colorful fish in the tank) ^_^d (Or her dark color that I love will pop out if I keep the vibrant platies) Suggestions?

She's TINY!! Probably the smallest fish in the tank!

This yellow platy is about the same size of my little girl ;) and he's tiny! Smaller than my dwarf platy :O

I know she's just a plain boring ol' blue, but her body shape and red/purple tinge under the light made my decision easy :] I already love her!

**EDIT** Here are better pics I just took!

She's soooo cute!! She looks teeny :P
She could be twins with my Clarise (who died a long time ago, obviously.)

But seriously, I love her!

Thanks! :) She's still doing really well! I was wondering... when I feed tropical flakes to my fish.. how do I prevent her from eating them? How do I single her out every time to give her pellets? What if she ends up overeating? ;_;

I've heard people buying breeding traps and putting them onto the side of their aquariums, and when their bettas eat food they arent supposed to, (other fish's food) put them in the breeding trap.
