It must be destiny...or some weird timeing.

So I'm getting a betta fish for the first time, and I've done my research everything is pretty much down, I'm most likely getting the tank tommorow, this will allow a week or so for it to cycle before the fish.

So this is where the weird thing happened, I called up the store to ask what kind of betta fish they had, they only had three left (two pastels and I think a betta with a pale body and red fins)...so I was like "oh...do you know when you get more?" and he said on the 12th of may.

Now this might not seem odd or not...but the 12th of may is the same day as my birthday...so it's kinda ironic...huh? Which ever betta I'm getting will have the same "birthday" as me...kinda funny...well that is if everything goes to plan.

Has something like this happened to anyone else by accident? (I know some people get betta's for their birthday...but this was completely by accident...XD)

XD true...I hope my betta feels happy being out of that little box and in a bigger tank...which completely fooled me by the way...

when I first looked at it, it looked a lot bigger then it actually is...The tank is really only 2.5 gallons or around that...I was tricked by a tank! XD

But when I get more money I will buy a much larger tank, so at least when he gets older he'll have even more room.

Don't worry about the tank. My bettas actually prefer 2.5 gallons to 5 gallons. They blow bubblenests and are more active in 2.5's. Dont ask me how that works out lol.

Huh...maybe...I hope mine likes it.

I'm also removing the gravel that comes with it (I'll save it for another tank I guess, since I'm getting another tank a little smaller then 2.5 gallons so I can place the gravel in there I guess) and instead of useing that I'm going to use glass pebbles...I like how it looks compaired to gravel.

And when I get the tank it might look bare...but thats only because I'll need to add new stuff along the way...I'll try to take some pictures of the tank, then I can show you guys...it's purple too. XD I could only find a purple one...the other one was orange and I didn't like the color.

Again like I said before, it might be plain when I set it up, since I need to get more money for plants that are right for the betta.
