I think it's a pretty great website. Your writing style is very easy to read while still being informative and not getting too boring. I also appreciate the ease/ simplicity of your links.
From an aesthetic perspective, I love the background. It's a great eye-catcher for someone who may stumble upon your site. The only think I might change is the presentation of the words on the page. There are some text-heavy bits that some average-joes or beginners looking for quick answers may not want to read carefully. You could break it up by simply bolding a few really important words/ ideas/ sentences, or you could try adding some colors (don't go crazy, or it will be overwhelming, especially with the background), like on the page where you use bullet points.
