Talking Yeah, I Think I'm Addicted

Went back to the same place I got Hades today to see if they sold all of their bettas. There were eight left, needless to say I brought one home. My boyfriend named him Boreas. Pics below are of him in his bag in the tank Hades is in. Worked well because I finally got Hades to full flare and was able to see what the new boy is. Hades isn't quite a halfmoon, but Boreas is. Boreas is now chillin' in a 1g until I bring my 5g up from home this weekend. I also may be able to special order a female, which would be awesome if I ever decided to breed them. :)

Yeah, I've been pondering it for the past few weeks. Though if I do, it'll be during the summer when I can devote much more time to them than in the fall when I'll be working. Also depends on how many people would want some of the offspring. :)

Where did you get him? Im practically drooling!
I really want to breed also. I have two pet betta's I can't breed till I find a place to rent I already have three ferrets and a dog I dont want to add 100 plus fish to the mix until after they let me move in. XD Im thinking Dragon HMPK cause their my favorite.

I got him at a store called Aquaria Studio. I looked to see if they have any other stores, but they only have two, both in Orlando. I think HMPKs are my favorite betta as well, they are so beautiful, not that the other types aren't beautiful too. :D I understand on needing to wait to breed them pending rent, that's another thing I have to consider as well. Oh I can't wait to have my own home, then a majority of the issues I may have with breeding them would just vanish, lol.

Ok, I just checked up on Boreas to make sure he's doing ok, and I noticed his left gill is stuck out in the flare position. I don't know how that happened, is there anything I can do to help him or will it go back into place on its own? He seems fine otherwise, just swimming around and checking out everything.
