Talking Feesh and Zephyr

I've been meaning to do this for a while, just had to get around to downloading my pictures from my camera...:P

Sir Greggory "Beta" Maximillion Feesh (or just Feesh for short), Blue VT that is ALWAYS moving! Hence...the blurry photos. My first betta. :D He currently resides in an eclipse 6 gallon with several live plants.

He's always...very interested in the algae wafers.

His tank:

Hopefully going to get more live plants in there...was thinking about maybe some pennywort.

Zephyr is my second betta. I was actually out looking for a crowntail, and ended up with a second VT. I saw the dark purple on him and was sold. LOL. When I first got him, he had nipped his tail quite badly...but it's healing well. It's already grown out quite a bit! He also tends to pose for me when I grab my camera...:P

:o

His Tank:

thanks for looking. :)

Love the fish and tanks!!!! What lives with Feesh in the 6g? Looks like a great home!!

I have some brazillian Pennywort, and I love it!!! Hard to find in pet stores though. But if you do, get it!!!!!!!

Feesh shares his tank with two oto cats. I had an algae explosion a couple weeks ago, and a friend of mine recommended that I get either otos or a netrite snail to take care of it. Since I couldn't find any netrite snails locally, I went with the otos. They're cute and they do their job well. :) I know my tank is a little overstocked with them...but I've been checking my water levels and I've bumped up my water changes to make sure no one suffers. I figure that if something does happen (aggression or the otos just need more space), my aunt has a 55-gallon and would gladly take them.

I really hope to find some pennywort soon. It looks great, and I'm sure Feesh would appreciate the floating plants.

and thank you all for the compliments!

I don't think it's too over stocked at all! 6g is plenty for a betta and two otos. Especially since you have live plants.

Well, that's good to know. I really enjoy having the otos around, actually. They're fun to watch.
