well he died on Saturday.

he just got progressivly worse, tilted and croaked.

It was really really sad.

I dont think I will ever find a fish as cool as he was.

Just gotta keep all his friends fat healthy and happy in his honor.

I had a real hard time with it on Friday.

By saturday I was just releived he wasnt suffering.

I spent the entire day after cleaning out his tank w/ Boiling water, Aqurium salt and a lil bit of rubbing alchohal..

I had just set up 2 tanks in Preperation for my Plakats that are supposedly being shipped today, so I had a goot deal of extra substrate and plants.

So after it was cleaned, dried and rinsed like 4 times, I set his tank up again.

I found a HUGE female that I bought Sat. night, and will pickup today afterwork.

So it was sad, but in his memory, I plan on spoiling everyone else.

I'm not sure if the rubbing alcohol was a good idea...did you wash it like crazy? The only things you should use to disinfect a tank is bleach or vinegar.

oh yea.

i went nuts on rinsing.

I also let the tank sit in the sun for about 4 hours so that the alchoal could evaporate.

after that i let it sit in running water for another 2 hours or so.
