Adhesive/anchoring question? wood has been sanded for no sharp edges. I am in process of boiling it now. The water was pretty dark after boiling so I am boiling it again. is all floating. Soooo, what type of adhesive do I use to anchor it to something. Or, do I need to find something to attach it to with screws? Thanks.

I would find some large rocks and either put them on top of the wood or tie them to the wood with thread or fishing line.

You need to water log it. You can either weigh it down with rocks in the tank or keep it in the pot it is in and weigh it down with a bowl or rock. Keep it submerged until it no longer needs the rock to be weighed down.

waterlogging is the best thing to do. Also, what you could do is find a small tile of slate at a hardware store, drill a hole through it, and screw the wood onto that.
