What happened?

I posted that Nova had Fin Rot. And I done a 100% Water change. I found him stuck in a silk plant. And, now, when he sinks to the bottom of the tank he just falls over. Did the plant freak him out or the water change? What should I do?

P.S. I have also been wandering does the Stress Coat work?

Did you use a dechlorinator and match the water temps between new and old water with the water change? Do you know how old he is?

Also, depending on the size tank and how long it was between water changes it could have been a nitrate or pH shock from a 100% water change

IMO/E-100% water changes can be safe as long as they are done at least weekly or more often.

Bold is what I put.

Did you use a dechlorinator and match the water temps between new and old water with the water change? Always do.

Do you know how old he is? I have had him for a few months, and he hasn't grown any.

The size of the tank is a 2 gallon. I usually do two 50% percent changes and one 100% Percent changes.

What should I do?

When I see a behavior change in my fish I make a 50% water change even if I just did one, often it is the environment and the first thing I want to rule out.

Okay.

I checked his temp. and it is about 84 degrees. Could that be it?
It has been hot where I am just yesterday and today. But how come my other bettas in the smaller tanks are not freaking.

I figured it was to hot for him so I acclimated him to a different tank. And he is doing so much betta. Nova is not breathing as hard and gained some color.
