Feeling a little ticked off...

This is the second time I've tried buying a fish from bettysplendens and the second time I've had trouble.

The first time I tried to put a fish on hold, sent the email with all my info, and the fish was put on hold for another person!

Now I'm trying to buy that calico female plakat. As soon as I sent her an email the fish was no longer listed on the website. I got an email back saying she was available and how would I like to pay. I told her I was paying with paypal and sent the paypal to her.

Well today I get a full refund back from her through paypal. No note saying why it was being refunded. I sent her an email asking why my paypal was refunded.. I'm waiting for an answer.

I hope she replies quickly and the fish isn't sold. Everyone I talk to says she's a great seller but I've had nothing but problems

I just got home and checked my email. Apparently the fish sold to another person. I guess between the time that she responded to my email and the time that I actually saw the email and sent the paypal the fish already sold. I'm really bummed about it. There aren't any other fish in her stock that I really want right now. I REALLY want a marble female.

Guess its back to aquabid for me. I found out that since a transhipper is really close to my house I can do a pick up and only pay for the transshipping fees (about $5) and not have to pay the $35 to have the fish shipped to me from a the transshipper... so I guess I can buy fish from thailand after all :)

I love the first and last ones.. I'd actually looked at them myself. I just can't afford to buy one right now. I still have starter cultures to buy and possibly another grow out tank if I do two spawns at once. I might talk it over with my Mom (who's going to be doing most of the work with the fry after the spawning) and see what she thinks about getting a different female. Although I think Phoebe crossed with Rio will be very interesting.
