Well welcome to the forum than!lol There are different tail types that bettas have. Veiltail (VT)s are pretty common. There's a thread in the betta care section that gives a whole list and pictures of all the different tail types and colors out there. Watch out, bettas are VERY contagious.haha You might end up with 5 or 6. :P

Here's the link to the thread: http://www.bettafish.com/showthread.php?t=29868

Thank you very much for explaining and the comments! :D
Good to know!

Oh yes yes I knoooOOoow....I saw at the petshop an awesome one all black with an elegant Crown tail.. and a gold one too and and woah...it *is* addicting ... but at least I got the good argument that I do not have the space for more then 1...or well--thats what I'm trying to tell myself. *think of places where I could add more space*

Hahaha! You'll find places and make room. :P I had 20 bettas at one time, I have NO idea how I handled that.lol They're all so different and have such amazing colors it's hard not to grab them. :P Just make sure that you don't overdue it...only get as many as you can handle.

twenty at once?! Wow!! I would love to see them!!
Oh no, don't worry. For now I really want to concentrate on one. And learn about him much more before getting others.

Thanks a lot mysquishy!!!

Yeah...lol I lost a lot of them because one of my fish had parasites (very contagious) and wiped out half of my fish. I have 5 now and I'm happy with that number. :) One of the members has/had 76 bettas.lol Sadly she hasn't been on in a while and I miss her wonderful advice!
