Question Need tank ideas

I'm getting my King betta tonight! And I'm also getting his tank and all of the other essentials. I'm going to name him King (Something). He is a dark blue/black and his tail has a blue strip through it. He looks like some evil king. xD

I need ideas for his tank. I love themes. My sorority tank is all pink/white/red/purple. Scuito's tank is military themed. Axel's is all dark colors, but I need a bigger tank before I can add a cave. Dragner doesn't really have a tank theme yet...

White plants would make King stand out but that also isn't very....evil King like. I'm going to get some live plants to put into the tank also.
Also, I'd kinda like to get him a friend. What kind of fish could I keep in with him in a 5.5g? (BTW, Maine doesn't sell ADFs or Ghost Shrimp and I really don't like snails after last time).

Any ideas?

Since he's evil, i'd say make it look desolate and barren. brown/beige stone, a dark branch to look like a dead tree, maybe a dark grey rock in one corner, and print up an orangy sky. Basically my thoughts are coming from the movie 300, King Leonidas.

http://www.yourhorizon.org/images/li..._scottland.jpg something like this could be cool. Green rocks, some stone to look like mountains.

That would be so cool!!! I'll see if I have find Java Moss at Petco, and a little rock tower (I don't make any caves anymore since the hot glue is frail & I've had them break apart).

Try tank sealant. I think OldFishLady here is the one that used it. It's the stuff that's used to glue the tanks together, works under water.
