Po only eats pellets

Is this ok?

Will he be ill?

Tried him with bloodworms n daphinia but no go. The breeder said he was fed on the pellets (we got the same 1s) and bloodworms which he wont touch

Thanks

That's normal. Bettas are finicky eaters. If you really want him to get used to bloodworms, put one or two in his tank in plain sight. If he doesn't want to eat it, remove it in a few minutes. This only works sometimes, though
Some of my bettas only eat bloodworms, others accept both. It's normal

Thanks

To be honest if only eating pellets isnt gonna be detrimental to his health then I'll just leave him be. Just dont want him to be malnourished. On the pellet jar it says it can replace live foods but people lie u no thought Id ask u lovely lot instead

The first time I gave one of my males a bloodworm you would have thought I poisoned him!!! He spit it out and gave me a dirty look!! The next time though, he gobbled it right up. And since then he jumps for one now!

He only eats things that float 2. If a pellet sinks he wont touch it. Is this usual of does he have issues? lol
