Quick Question about Bottled Water

Is warm bottled water okay to use for your fish? I read that some people use it so I just want to get the basics. Also, does it need to be conditioned or is it relatively good water to use right off the bat? Thank you.

Well...I read an article totally non fish related that some companies who claim to have "bottled spring water" or whatever actually bottle tap water from different cities/states. In that case, it would not be safe to use because it would have chlorine. However, if you have a local company like I do here in KY, then you know it's safe to use.

As long as you test the water before hand it should be fine. But honestly I don't see the point in paying for bottled water for fish when you can use dechlorinated tap water. Also, tap water has minerals in it that can be good for fish that bottled water may be missing.

Sorry if I offended you. I was stating my opinion. And I don't think I'll be saying anything else on this thread, except that I agree with 1f2f.

Yeah, bottled water usually lacks nutrients that bettas need.
