I'm about 3 hours away from Old Orchard Beach and my cars a gas hog (it's a Nissan Xterra) so it would be expensive. Where's the Red Sox game?

I love those cars! I love mine...it's just a gas hog.lol How long would it take to ship him? About a day? Do you think he'd make it? I don't want you to ship him if you don't think he'd make it (I know you wouldn't ship him if you didn't think he'd made it). Hopefully someone in Maine could take him if that was the case. Even if I did meet you in Boston, I'm sure he'd have the same bumpy ride because my car drives like a truck so every little bump you feel (that's what I love about the car :P). I know you have someone else who's interested, so just PM me if she/he can't take him.

Sounds good. I'd rather have him safe with someone else than have him put through all the stress shipped here. Good luck, hope you can work something else out.

I think I might have found someone locally! I posted him on our local buy/sell/trade site, and figured I'd try to find someone responsible and provide them with a 3 gallon critter keeper and heater. I posted a picture as well with just an adoption notice (no color/tail description). I got an email today asking if he is a black copper HM!!! The bells in my head went off - this must be a fellow betta lover!! She apparently lives in my town and has divided tanks as well as a few other tanks. So we shall see what she says!!

Yay! I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that it works out. Definitely suggest the forum to her.
