Random Walmart Question

Okay, so do the majority of you buy your bettas from a super walmart if from a walmart at all? Because my walmart in town is going to be supersized soon and I was thinking about it and thought there could be a possibility of them selling fish. Do you think it'll happen?

oh yes. it will happen. and it will be horrible.
then again since yours is new if you catch a fish in there within a week or so of it opening that you want then buy it, because after two weeks they forget about them and just leave them to rot. (literally)
walmart has a bad reputation for sick and dead fish.
the one in bristol va that i am familiar with did not have a single living fish alive but three or four when i yelled at the manager and she finally listened and cleaned up and restocked.
i would stick with your LPS or Petsmart. Though petsmart sells sick bettas too they are still better than walmart on any given day.

There are some wal-marts that do take good care of their fish.. there's one near my mom's house that is pretty new (like 1-2 years old) that always has clean cups and tanks and the bettas have always looked good when I was their.

All of the wal-marts I go to are supercenters so I wouldn't know if a regular walmart would have fish or not.

My supersized walmart doesnt sell fish, but the one at the other end of the city does. Before they supersized the walmart near me they sold them. I guess it jsut depends on the walmart

There are two near me (about 30 minutes and 40 minutes away) that sell bettas. The one closest to me doesn't take care of them at all...the other one does. I've gotten bettas from them, but they usually get sick and pass away. I've found that Petco bettas are the best.

My Wal-Mart is right down the road and they don't take good care of they fish.The last time I went there the bettas were in 2 inches of water. The bettas were sooo pretty that I was SUPER mad. I wanted an orange one so I hid him.
