light question

Hey guys. I just purchased a GE energy smart daylight 19 watt bulb for my Hex 5 gallon. Is this kind of bulb good for amazon sword and bamboo to grow? Thanks!

Sword need more light. Are you using fertilizers?

I have a red sword in low light & it's hanging in because I use fert root tabs. But it's not doing great.

Bamboo isn't a good tank plant. It is sticking out of the tank?

Crypts & anubis are good low light plants.

So how much light does a sword need then? I am using fertilizer drops.

I'm not sure.

Check the plant section of this site & see what you can find.
