Moray eel

Saw this guy in a local aquarium shop and just had to snap some pics! I think he looks fantastic!

That is a very beautiful moray. Beautiful brown eyes, too. I have a snowflake, myself. I am a big fan of eels.

At least he isn't a Dragon Moray Eel. My snowflake is about 2 feet, me and my family are moving. My Goliath, his name, is going with us. And they can jump out of a net.

Do they have personalities like bettas? Meaning, do they recognize owners, and bond with them somewhat?

Do they have personalities like bettas? Somewhat, they can get mean, though. Oh, and you can hand feed them. But I have been bitten once.

Do they recognize owners, and bond with them somewhat? Eels are practically blind, but they have high sense of smell. I'm sure they can see shadows. And my Goliath knows when it is feeding time.

That's not a moray. That's a tessalada. I used to have one. He was 5.5 feet long. They do have personalities, ad mine would let you reach in and pet him. He was a crackup.

tessalada? Or tessellate? Which is a type of Moray. Like the snowflake, zebra or even the dragon. I'm not sure what this one is.

I knew I spelled it wrong. I just was at work and didn't have time to fix it lol. Yeah it's a "tropical" relative of a moray. Same species, different part of the ocean ;)
