Eyes Sealed Shut?

Alright so I went to petco today, and I found this delta tail alone in the liveplant section. Hes a beautiful betta, but it looked like both his eyes are sealed the color of his skin, what do you guys think?

No, unforunately I was only their for plants. It took a lot of willpower not too though, they also had a pure white HMPK, which was the first HMPK I've ever seen in person. I have pic if you want too see.

Not the best pic, but there was alot of employees around and I didn't want them to get mad. The delta tail was in a more secluded spot haha, so I did a whole photoshoot.

that poor delta's probably blind, or partly blind. bad breeding, i think. Theo has the same issue, only with just one of his eyes. ;A; i'd go back and get him. better he goes to someone who will love and care for him, than someone who sees "oohh! pretty blue betta! he'll go GREAT in that vase in my kitchen! he matches the tile! *derp*". .___.

I'm considering it, I know my Mom wouldnt make two trips in one day, but maybe tommorow?? I wonder what would be the best way to care for him, a smaller tank?

for Theo, i have him in a 2.5 gallon glass tank. he has two plants, and one takes up half his tank(it fans out so big!). i have no rocks or gravel at all at the bottom, in case he misses pellets and they fall, he can go back and nom them. for feeding, i have a small, plastic ring from a set of plastic measuring spoons. it floats, so i sprinkle pellets in the ring, and when he goes up to nom, they don't spread out everywhere and he can easily get to the pellets, instead of having to hunt for them. he's understandably shy, though, and does this cute thing where he flares as he gets air, like he's trying to scare away anything that might want a snack. :d otherwise, he's like any other betta. :3 would you like pics of his tank, so you can get an idea of how i do it?
