yet one more cycling question

When you cycle a tank, do you still do weekly water changes? If so for a 10 gallon, how often?

Fishless cycling you don't need to make any water changes until the cycle completes (4-8 weeks) and then you make a 50% water change/vacuum and add the fish.

Fish in cycling when you don't have the water testing products, water changes need to be 50% water only every 3 days with substrate vacuum every 7 days with a water change.
With testing products you make 50% water change with readings of ammonia or nitrite 0.25ppm while cycling.

Once the tank is cycled 50% weekly water changes with gravel vacuum this is with a proper stocked tank that is not over fed and left over food removed.
