Water change...

So this past Tuesday Bubbles got a new tank. He went from a 1g to a 2.5g tank. He is just loving it and I am really happy with this size. Much happier than I was with the 1g. He seems very happy too, which is great!

I need some advice as I am a new betta fish owner.

I am leaving out of state tomorrow and won't be home until Thursday. So pretty much, I will be gone 6 days.

Today I did a 50% water change in his tank. Should I have done a full water change today or will he be okay enough to wait and I do a full water change that Thursday when I return?

The tank has a running filter. I also have a heater.

Just curious.

I think he'll be ok until you get home and make a full change.

Change the water about 1/3 of it would be better.

Well I just got home and Bubbles isn't looking too well. :( He's pretty much on his side. He swims crazy around the tank, but ends up floating up to the top and on his side.

It has been pretty warm while I was gone. He tank was about 74 when I came home...so I am heating it up.

I did a water change and put Betta Revive in the tank.

All I can do is keep my fingers crossed my little guy pulls through.

Just breaks my heart.

Aww I'm sorry. Did anyone feed Bubbles while you were gone? Definitely sounds like swimbladder. I'd fast him for a few days and see if it helps. I hope he pulls through.
