Transporting My Betta

In January, I came back to school with my Betta, Beethoven. I took him home for a week in April when it was Spring break and when I did that, I used tupperwear to get him from School to home. I really didn't like this arrangement much and I know it stressed him out; you can just tell.

So now it's almost summer and I'm wondering what would be the best way to take my little guy home with me?

Try to get fish bags. Most pet stores or LFS will give you one or two for free. Fill it up with 2-3in of CLEAN dechlorinated water (don't use the water the fish is already in). Put the fish in there and grab the top of the bag so there is air in it, then knot the top. Put the fish in a box or even a laundry basket lined with clothes or towels so he's nice and cushioned.
