So I woke up this morning and saw that my betta has this thing protruding from his body. It is located exactly in the center of his right side and is a dull grey brown colour. Its shaped like an oval, protrudes only a bit, covers about 1/15 of his body. It kind of looks like fungus but I'm totally not sure. I tested everything and its all good, plus my betta is acting normal. He lives in a 10 gal tank. What is this unidentified item? Please help. Thanks.
