female betta feeding habits

I'm afraid that somethings wrong with my betta, as she hasn't ate in 4 days. The past couple of days I've taken a pinch (roughly 5-10 pellets) of our Wardley Betta food and gave it to her (but like every 2 days) and she hasn't even touched it. Is this food just not "tasty" to her?

Hoe big is the tank, how much and how often are the water changes and when was the last one, what is the water temp and any additives used.
Are you removing the uneaten food?

The tank is 1 gallon, I have been changing the water every other day, today was the most recent one. The water temp I try to keep around 80 F but I don't have a heater yet and so it's between 76F - 80F, not using any additives?

I have been removing the uneaten food roughly 5 mins after I put it in.

It looks like you are providing good/correct care and you must be on well water since you don't use dechloranator.
How old is she or how long have you had her, has she always been a picky eater and is she showing any other symptoms besides not eating?

I do need to get dechloranator, because we do only have tap water. Problem is I don't get paid until next monday. She seems fine right now, although sometimes when the water gets a lil cold for her she sits at the bottom of the tank.

If you are on city water and not using a dechloranator in the water it could be chlorine/chloramine poison, you need to get a dechloranator as soon as you can. At this point I would hold all food and stop the water changes until you can get the dechloranator or find someone that has well water.

Do you know if you have chlorine and chloramine in the water? if you are in the USA you do...other countries I don't know....
