Well...my new bettas aren't cooperating. At all. -___-; Its not like they're SHY or anything, or too overly hyper active....they just make is REALLY super hard to get any good pictures of them, especially a side profile. They just will NOT get in a good position for me :/ Ugh....
So, today I did something a little different and took the camera OUTSIDE, since it was a nice day. We have a HUGE pond up towards the font of the property that has a few common feeder gold fish and two or three Shubunkins. We noticed a few days ago that there were several babies in the pond as well. Most of them are just black, but there are probably four or five with some orange and white in there as well....so I decided to make an attempt at getting pics..and actually surprised myself, some of them came out pretty decent xD
One of the babies my mom has claimed and calls Phoenix(you'll see him in a couple pics)...he has a black back with an orange head. My pond fish is a Shubunkin with an orange back and a white head(and you can't see it in the pics, but he has one blue eye and one orange eye), I call him Ichigo. There is also Frank, a very large goldfish who was in the pond when we bought the house, Hikaru and Kaoru, the two almost solid orange goldys, Bones, my brothers white, orange, and black goldfish....and the numerious other unnamed ones xD Anyways, heres some pics of the fish and the pond.
And of course, the dogs come outside with me during my little walk...had to get some pics of them xD The black one is Aurora(Roary)and the white-ish one is Jade. They're both female Aussie/Labs, sisters, and litter mates, 11 months old. We rescued them, their mom, and their six siblings who had been abandoned in the cabin next to us last year and found homes for everyone else. Roary was my 18th birthday present, and Jade my mom took a special liking too, so yeah...xD They're both wonderful dogs, really sweet and tons of fun. They're constantly wrestling with one another when outside, stalking one another through the ferns and bushes, pouncing on each other...its really fun to watch xD They also look pretty vicious in a couple of this pics, which I find just hilarious. They're both such sweethearts....
