You could feed him a little piece of frozen pea, but don't do this regularly. Afterall, bettas are carnivores.

where can i get some epsom salt.... i tried to feed him 2 peas but he wont touch them... i did a water change about an hour ago so i think i need some epsom salt

drug store for epsom

with the peas make sure they are cooked, peel and tear off really small pieces

please help!!! his condition is worse... hes sitting on the bottom... i made some special water with water conditioner and epsom salt and i just took a little of that water and mixed it with the water he is in now.....

How much and how often have you been changing the water and do you have him in QT, what is your water temp, how much Epsom salt are you using?

i just did a water change about 3 hours ago and i change it once a week as they dont get too dirty .... hes not in QT because i dont have acces to a QT tank..... i used 1/2 tsp. because i filled a half gallon container with it.... i also put in water conditioner so i am waiting to add that water in one hour.... he dosnt touch the cooked pea i put in either

I would start doing 100% daily water changes as I recommended in earlier post, since he is getting worse hopefully it is not too late.....
Stop all food for now, keep the water level low as you are already doing, if you have a clean 1g jug I would use that to pre-mix the epsom salt 1tsp/gal so that you can dose correct amounts and it will make water changes easier too.
What is the water temp?
The dechlorinator works on contact so it is safe to use at the time.

im acually going downstairs right now to take out a little more water and put in the extra water i have... i acually have a huge soup pot that holds 5 gallons (used specifically for mixing fish water) the water temp. is at 75 degrees farenheit which is just perfect for my fish as the thermometer im using has a green area that marks ideal temperature
