I wasn't sure where to post this, so I'm sorry if this is in the wrong place

But I'm going to Petsmart tomorrow

... need I say more?
He/she will be staying in a temporary 2.5 gallon tank until I clean out Peanut's 5 gallon.
But... I'm not sure what he died of... he was just very lethargic before he died... and he had a white mound thing on his beard... i think it could have been a tumor. He was eating fine though, and his temperature was stable... and his water was clean and normal... so I have no idea.
But before I move my new friend into the five gallon in the weekend. Should I rinse it out (as well as decorations) with bleach as well? I've heard you can do that. I rinse out my tanks with vinegar every time I clean them, just to make sure. But I don't want ANOTHER betta dying on me.... I just lost Peanut, and I lost Augie and Veles a while ago. They were my favorites...!
Thanks
