ONE question:

Is there such a thing as a Halfmooncrowntail?

I say, why not? There are regular tail types of every other kind... PK's, SD's,... so why not crowntails?
Hah, but I don't know anything about tail types and their genetics. XD

A halfmoon crossed with a crown tail is called a half sun.

Technically all crowntails are halfmoons with reduced webbing. A crowntail should have a 180* spread and at least 30% reduction in webbing.

lol betta slave your so funny:D but i thought so too but i might just get a few more opinions since you put in yourself you know nothing about genetics. well at lease you know what ur bettas are:D.

well im just curious people do you know of any if so can you post pics?? or describe?????

this sounds very reasonable and true im sure it is. have you ever had one?

No I've never had one. I don't care for messy halfmoons like halfsuns, feather tails, and rose tails.
