beta food

what kind of beta food does everyone use is my beta food ok? the other fish seem to be eating it any clue why http://www.bettafish.com/picture.php...pictureid=6128

That food is fine. Its best to feed several different foods although.

(btw... its "betta" not "beta".. sorry.. just a pet peeve of mine)

Yep, that food's fine. I find that Hikari Betta Bio-Gold is the best.
(Lol yep, beta's a Greek number or something of the sort.)

You shouldn't feed your bettas algae wafers. Bettas are insectivores and are not designed to eat algae or other plant matter.

Sorry, yeah, algae wafer's aren't good. I was talking about the food on the first post. I'm tired today. :S

Yeah, that food is fine. I used to use it with my first bettas. Now I just buy what I can find in my area since there aren't too many stores here unless I drive far. I feed pellets, flakes, and sometimes freeze dried brine shrimp. I think they enjoy some variety in their diets.

the betta does not eat the algae wafers my other fish in the tank eat the wafers

That's fine then. Just sometimes bettas like to steal food from the other fish, so make sure he doesn't eat them instead of his normal food.
