I'm not really all that happy with BP. Me, being the naturalist I am, I find the disaster an evil. I don't like hearing about it because it stresses me out. (I'm not saying i'm offended by your post, I just don't like seeing pics and videos and stuff.) As I post this, an ad asks on the side of the screen, "BP Oil Spill. Obama To Blame?"

I'm amazed! I use to think that drilling off shore wasn't anything to be concerned about. Well, With all the time companies and Goverments have had to make some kind of emergcy plans for this type of thing you think it would be handled better!

Obama should be concentrating on the economy, foreign affairs, and promoting reform. This is what the whole 8 gazillion other people working for the government are supposed to be for - dealing with the 8 gazillion other idiots who are collectively responsible for this mess (including some of "their own.") Yes, he should make statements, but he's not there to micro-manage things.

Sorry, didn't mean to make this a real political discussion, more of a BP-boycott rally thing, but come on, next they're going to want him on a beach shovelling up dead birds. *rolls eyes*

I agree with the above statement. There are equally important matters to deal with right now. BP should be held responsible, not Obama.
People should not be building off shore rigs without first making sure all parameters for safety have been met.

I agree too. BP made their own mess. I wish we could make more progress towards alternate energy. I'm hoping that this helps push us in that direction.
