New Girlie

Hello ppl!
This lovely lil girl,Blanche has just come to live with me and I was wondering what type she is? As usual the camera doesn't do justice, but you get the idea (hopefully!)
I've just noticed she's got a scale missing on her back, would a short course of Aquarium Salts help recovery? Otherwise she seems healthy, just a bit freaked at the change of surroundings.
Thanks all
x

She's gorgeous! Unfortunately, I can't help you with coloring and tail types, I'm dreadful at it.
And yes, aquarium salt will help the missing scale on her back a bit, though I've gone without aquarium salt and the scales have re-grown fine.

Platinum coppers are really uncommon, aren't they?

Thanks for all the comments and compliments and apologies for the ENORMOUS pics! I really must learn to re-size one of these days....
Blanche says 'Hello',she's been busy checking her new home out but seems reluctant to eat, maybe she's still acclimatising. Her colours are gorgeous (even if i do say so meself!) she's silvery-white with a lovely iridescense all over but esp. on her fins and has lil blue flecks in each eye. Nice to know what variety she is,or might be! Not that I'm fussed,I love her whatever
Thanks again for the info

She's not a veil tail. VT females are supposed to have long fins

Like this..

or this..

Most short finned females you see at pet stores are plakats.
