Decoration advice

Hey guys. I need some decoration advice. Currently my tank is split with a betta 4 catfish on one side, and a bridge. The other side has a king Betta and a skull. Both sides have amazon sword and bamboo. The tank is heatedm filtered, and lighted. I want to put more decorations (or plants) on the side with the catfish. I have pics below. What should I add to my tank?

Hmmm...I'd say the top looks a bit empty, maybe you could add a floating plant or decoration? I know my LPS sells betta logs which are like a little hollow log that floats at the top as a cave for your betta.

I don't think it will affect the heater any more than a fake plant would or fish would.

I thought a heater could only touch a fish. If it touches anything else it could start a fire?

hmm, maybe I am wrong, but I've had plants against my heater (plastic ones) and nothing has happened, but maybe someone else has more thoughts on this.

I have touched my heater before, and plants too. So I think it would be fine. Plus I think the log would stay stationary until something touched it. And that something couldnt be a fish, there too small.
