New betta's tank.

I managed to get a critter keeper tank good thing it was cheap or my dad wouldn't of gotten it...

Anyway I got a shell/hide, and a large leaf silk plant and some white rocks and some blue gravel under them. it's a little bare I know...but it's all I could manage to get for now...the heater isn't really needed right now since it's summer. But we will get one later...so don't worry.

mind you the shell "looks" small but I can fit two fingers inside of it easyly...and I blocked off any smaller parts so he can't get stuck.

Here are some pictures.

Hopefully it's good enough for him for now...

Looks great! That's good bang for your buck.

I like the idea of the "shell-ter" ;) but I read on another thread here that they leak minerals and stuff into the water because they're composed of calcium carbonate. :( Too bad, because it's really cute.

It looks cool =) you should watch your PH levels though, shells are made up of calcium and it will raise your levels which bettas don't like.
