Baby Swordtail

I have had a baby swordtail, Nemo, for a while. A few months. I was wondering how big I should let him get before he is released out of the little separate tank I have in my big tank.

He is about the size of some guppies I got recently. The new fish arent what I'm scared of. I'm scared of my filter sucking him up. Also, I have a pretty big chinese algae eater who does like to scare the 3 other adult swordtails I have, Maureen, Yuki, and Yellow Submarine.

Here is a picture of him in the little tank I have had him in since he was just born. Yes, it is green. I purchased it that way.

He is! Nemo is my first baby fish. He was so cute when I first found him under this bridge in my tank! He was exactly half black half orange and had really cute eyes!

Here is the chinese algae eater and the orange thing on the right is Maureen. She likes to be photographed. The bubbles are a huge bubble wall I have in my tank that my fish play in.

I would wait a while before I put him in with the other fish.Don't want him to get eaten.=)

Yeah. Too cute to be eaten by big fish. and too hard to get too!
It's really rare to get a baby fish...

Why I though SwordTails where easy to breed?

They are, but tank conditions have to be just right. My dad has swordtails and he also has some biting fish and a pleco that is 2 feet long!
The mom of Nemo, Athena, died shortly after Nemo was born. Same with nemo's dad, Axel. (Pixar and Disney lied. The parents are not Marlin and Coral.) I had 3 females, Yuki, Maureen, and Yellow Submarine, in with my only male, Ringo. No more baby fishies that I saw. Ringo died too.

Yeah. Athena and Axel live on in Nemo though! He's so cute!
