Can I put a male with females?

I have successfully kept 1 male with a group of females in a 55 gallon. I have also kept 3 males with 5 females in my pond.
Now, I'm wondering can I add a male to my 36 gallon heavily planted tank with lots and Lots of hiding places? I can slowly add him, first in a breeder net. Then in a breeder box. And then eventually I can just have him together with the 5 females? Will this work? Can I try?

So it would be just 1 male and 5 females in a 36 gallon "heavily" planted tank?

Can you post a pic of the tank?

You can try it - I have seen it done with one male and some females, but know that it is a risk. Make sure there is MANY hiding places, and maybe add stress coat or AQ salt to help with stress. Good luck!

There would also be platy fry and corydoras.

I only have a pic from the 3 months ago. But it's grown in a lot. Cause I dirted it.
Now the entire top is 4-5" thick with plants and java fern and water wisteria took over,

Even grown in, with those plants and that scape it couldnt get really thick. You can try whatever you want, add them all at the same time. But i am not recommending it and it will probably not work.
