Do you rehydrate sun dried gammarus (shrimp)?

The title says it all really

I know it is necessary with freeze dried but not sure about sun dried.

P.S

They definately need to be crushed up! I broke one in have and had soaked it and my boy had a bit of difficulty. Plus I don't like the idea of the shells being whole and going down

Thanks!

It's always a good idea to fully hydrate any food you give to your betta, even pellets.
