I came back from vacation and the next morning Goober had a bubblenest built for me!

I'm so proud!...sniff...

Thanks! He's built even bigger ones since then! :D

The skull is a T-Rex skull that came with the tank. It's one of those Marina themed kits...in this case a dinosaur theme. But I have seen dino skulls at Wal-Mart and Big Al's Aquarium Shop here in Canada. I don't know if they would have them at Wal-Marts in the US, but it would make sense that they do. Of course, Canadian Wal-Marts don't sell bettas, or fish at all, so I guess it's possible that they US Wal-Marts don't sell dino skulls... :D

That would suck to never be able to see all the little betta's waiting for a new home. Knowing that when you go to the Walmart just to buy some fish food and you leave carrying 3 betta cups with brand new buddys you love and care for. Happens to me ALL the time!

The Wal-Marts nearby sold fish for years, but then they stopped and they all took out the whole live fish section about a year or two ago. I was in Ontario last week and it was the same thing there. They didn't even have them in the supercentres. I miss watching the fishies at Wal-Mart!

I know where I currently live in Ontario ( Sudbury ) the supercenter doesn't sell live fish but the other walmart that is down the street from me, always have about 10-15 bettas and a wall of live fish. Every time we go there, My boyfriend and his buddy ALWAYS have to go see them >_<

Lucky you! I haven't seen any fish at Wal-Mart (not even bettas) for a while! I'm pretty sure that the bettas were the last to go.
