I feel so bad :[

When I was getting Xavier today I saw this beautiful yellow VT with a little bit of fin damage but not much and I wish I had another tank and heater for him.... I feel so bad that he's not going to get a home and he's going to end up dieing! Agh a big mess!!! So something came to mind to take the 10 gal tank with tropical fish and divide it half and half one side for the betta one side for the neons! Do you think it will work out? I just feel so dull garn bad for that yellow guy...:[ Agh I know I'm such a sucker but I just can't leave him there...It breaks my heart :[ I hope someone buys him by Monday or Tuesday or I just know I'm going to be setting up a new tank.......So do you guys think this Idea will work??????
