Raccoons

I am a HUGE raccoon lover and I want to know, where is it legal to own a Raccoon? I know it is not legal where I live. So does anybody know where you can keep a raccoon? Does anybody own one?

My friend used to have a raccoon XD He was atually pretty nice...But they own a nature reserve so I'm not sure if it's legal for anybody to own a raccoon....I think you need a special license :]

There's a guy at my church who was telling me how great of a pet they make, at least 'til they get big and mean. LOL he was completely serious too!!! I had to keep myself from cracking up.... :P

You can have skunks in NJ with a license. I have been SO tempted for a long time. I think you can look it up somewhere. Maybe google it for your state?

LOL Come to my backyard. They are pretty tame. They don't run from you and they look at you like you're and idiot if you try to chase them off while they eat. Gotta love WV :)

Racoons are pretty much my dream pet. In Toronto, there are so many, and they are so cute! But yeah, you need an exotics license.

We have tons of raccoons here but they are a pest but I want one!
