Puffy and his cycling tank

This is my little brother's/my only betta Puffy, in his 1/2 gallon tank.

Here's his sparcely decorated 10 gallon tank (I need more live plants!), there's the live anubias on the very left (darn it, it's floating again :P ) and the other two are silk plants.

And here's Puffy again, with his horrible fins and attitude. He was saying "talk to the fins" in this picture

I'd say so since they're cycling it. Lol.
Hey JKfish, would you mind adding me as a friend and pming me to keep me updated on how your cycling is going?
I would love to hear how things are going for you. :)
Also, I'm having a little trouble with mine and would like to talk with someone else who is currently cycling.
Love the silk Ivy btw, where did you get it?
I was thinking of browsing Michael's for some interesting silk decor.

alien betta: Thanks :)

betta novice: Yeah, as soon as I'm done cycling, that'll be his home, and he'll be tankmates with some shrimp and a small school of harlequin rasboras. ^.^

LucyLoofa: Sure thing. I got them from my dad's store, which has some silk plants were used for decoration, but he no longer needs, so I sorta take whatever looks nice. You can probably find something like that, if not exactly the same as it in Michael's like you said. :)

Your tank is beautiful! =] Lol. I love animals with attitude! <3
Hope your cycling goes well! =] Are you doing the pure ammonia or the piece-of-something method? =]

WallyWest: Thank you :D I'm using two pieces of shrimp stuck in a mesh bag to cycle. You can sorta see it floating almost on top of the anubias, it almost looks like a fish in the close up picture XD. Right now, after 2 weeks, the nitrites have started to spike, and hopefully they'll go down soon.
