Meet Scarlett!

Haha my Betta Club went up to San Jose for the CBS convention and help buy it for me. He's so lazy, all he wants to do is sleep all day... until I put a mirror to the side of the tank to give him some good exercise :]

yeah, what kind? oh and BEAUTIFUL betta! i always thought putting a mirrior in front of them stresses them out

Its a cambodian base red halfmoon. if you leave the mirror there for long periods of time they will get stressed out, but if you put a mirror there and they flare and thrash about for a few minutes its good exercise. when you take the mirror away, it thinks it won the battle cause the other betta left so it feels happy. i'd say a good 5 minutes of it will be enough each day. some people do 20. seems a bit much imo.
