Really worried!!

I was feeding Alex tonight....I noticed he has a spot on his right side thats black and puffy....I have no clue what it is but it wasn't there before! Does anyone know what it could be! :[ And what can I do to treat it?

Also It's not puffy like a pine cone...It's just like a bump puffing out of his body..:[

Do you think he could have injured himself on something> For now, I would keep his water clean and keep an eye on it.

Well He always trys to get inbetween his heater...Do you think he could have gotten squished and it's just sore and puffy??

Can you post a pic? I agree with DQ, keep the water clean with daily water changes for now until you find out what it is, and if he is acting fine and its not getting worse or any change in behavior, it may just be an injury...posting a pic will help us.

Is it like black and kinda like a sore, because is it doesnt fit the discrition, he might be bloated

AGH!!! I can't get any pic of it! It won't show up :[ but I noticed that it's not puffed up anymore....It's only 3 scratches now...So should I just keep doing daily water changes?
