i had a male with four glow lights (assuming that's the same thing as just a glow tetra) and he was fine. he chased them around occasionally but there was no biting or fighting or anything. my female betta that i have now is in the tank with three glow light tetras and she is also fine with them. she usually keeps to herself.
if i were you i wouldnt get just one glow light tetra, i think they like to be in schools so you should get 4-6.
(petsmart had them on sale when i got mine for only a dollar with the pet perks card)
