Question New fish acting....odd

'Ello all, so yesterday, after the death of my favorite fish apollo, i went out and got a new fish, he's a halfmoon double tail, he's gorgeous and i just had to get him, but the problem is, when i brought him home, and put him into his new tank- he had stress stripes and was at the top of the tank, almost floating. he's the same way today, he swims for a bit here and there but remains at the top. Maybe swim bladder?
