PLEASE HELP! Dropped phone into 17 gallon

Ok, i already got yelled at and all that and i am NEVER going anywhere near the tank with a phone again so pleas don't tell me how stupid it is to talk on the phone and stare at you fish at the same time im still beating myself about it! So will dropping the phone in the tank affect the water? (i took it out as soon as it fill in) Is there anything i need to do (besides not bring it near the tanks ever again...)Please help!

ok thank goodness!! I was so scared that the metal in the phone would harm them or the water. Phew!

Nah they should be fine. :)

Also, if your phone is wet in the inside, take the battery, memory card, etc. out and put it in the oven for a little bit.

i wouldnt feel too bad dude, we built a water feature during my practical year at varsity last day we were there it was marking day and we got the water feature going and i went ooo my first building project with cement and bricks and so on lets take a pic so wanted a pic of the side so you could see the spouts, took the pic and went to slide my phone closed and slid it closed and out of my hand and into the newly filled water feature lol. i just took out the battery and sim and left it in the sun for a few days and it worked fine afterwards. everyones prone to blonde moments sometimes

don't worry about your fish, they should be fine.

Also, another option to dry out your phone is to take the battery out, and put the phone and battery in a bag of uncooked rice for a few hours. :)

we just let the phone sit by the window and it rings weird ( rings stops rings stops. It is a song kind of ring so it doesnt normally stop.) but it was my dads phone so i dont know if it actually can let you talk to someone okay but hopefully it does. Thanks everyone!
