Funny thing... I lived most of my life in Puerto Rico and my grandmother had an Indian Almond tree in her yard. HUGE tree which ended up being cut down a few years ago.
Now, I'm having to buy the leaves online UGH!
Does anyone know how they should be picked? Because my mother still lives over there and I'm pretty sure one of our neighbors had one too.

I don't know about how they can be picked, but I believe they must be dried. Very cool tree to have indeed. =)

You don't pick them, you wait until they fall to the ground :) Once they've naturally fallen off the tree you can dry them in the sun.
