Lona's still "Glass Surfing"!!!!need advice!!

ok lona's still Glass surfing after i tried doing the water changes like Oldfishlady said (Still doing Changes) and ive try floating 6 different colored plastic bottle cap on the surface, I've try putting at least 13 different Backgrounds on. She has a filter and a cave ( which she has never gone in),I've try everything i can think of to get her to stop. im worried about her, she Panic's so hard!! my only way that i think is working to get her to stop is to cover her with a white sheet!! im not even sure that's working!!

Is there anything i can do????

Have you tried turning the filter off, sometimes the current from the filter can be stressful and turning off the light.
Its a 2g tank right? back off on the water changes to twice a week at 50%
Some fish never adjust to tanks, was she surfing in the container you bought her in?
Do you have something tall in the tank or something for her to get on top of like a leaf
Is she in a high traffic area?

Ive try turning the filter and light off (no diff) and, yes she was surfing in the plastic cup i got her in, just not as hard. and there are lot of Pastic leaves from the plants near the surface. there about 1inch long and 1/2 inch wide.and yes she in a high traffic area.(Bedroom doorway)

Since she has always been a surfer she may never stop.....sometimes these fish can be a bit neurotic from the get-go and it may not mean that anything is physically wrong per se'
You could try putting her in a low traffic area but that may not make much difference and she may just need more time to settle in her new space
Does she ever have a time that she seems calm?

Poor thing..she needs a fish shrink......sorry, I know thats not funny especially since you are so worried about her...I wish I could be of more help.....she may just need more time and hopefully she will settle for you....I hope she does....but it sounds like you have tried a lot of different things to help her and now it is up to her....

It may help if you put some silk/live plants against the glass that she's swimming against. This may help break her behavior. Sadly, bettas are so overbred in fish farms that we don't always see ideal traits in the fish we bring home, some speculate that neurotic/negative behaviors can be partially inherited and are more evident in poor breeding stock.
