Some Sorortiy Questions

I got a used, practically brand new, 20 gallon tank. I have decided to use that as my sorority tank, instead of the ten gallon. I still have some things I am still not sure of, though.

What is a good number of females to have?
When I get new females, do I leave the current females in the tank and just rearrange?
Would it be better to get the number of females I want then add them all at once?
Is it okay to add three females at first, then say three more?
Also, some say it is better to add the aggressive female last, how do I know which one is the aggressive one?

Thanks!

P.S. I might have more questions later on.

For a 20 gallon you could have quite a few if you had the right amount of hiding spots. A good number would be atleast 4 to start with, 6 would be even better.

Most people say leave the current rearrange so they can all reastablish territories. Thats probably the best way to go when you have a lot of females. I just recently added another to my sorority and I didnt rearange anything and it worked out fine.

Thats usually the way its done. They can establish territories and a pecking order together at the same time.

I would put atleast 4 in when you start it. If your going for 6 then put them all in at once just make sure to watch the water parameters.

You kinda need to guess by watching them when they are in their seperate tanks. It was a guess for me and I was almost right but it didnt seem to make a difference.
