OOoooohhh. How can I resist? I'm always looking for an excuse to show off pics of my furred darlings! Heheh.

Get comfy, cause there's quite a few! ;P

Rats! Definitely my favourite pets (sorry Mr. Betta!)

Spook (left) & Marley (right). Both 27 months old. My first rats, and the ones who introduced me to the world of animal rescues. Had to get them both neutered so they'd love each other! LOL.

Liam. 14 months old. My first intended "rescue". Literally fished him out of some guy's snake tank. o.O Now he's my alpha male and my intelligent little trickster. (Take THAT snake! Can you do agility?!)

Monkey. 17 months old. Can you say "issues". Holy molly, I've spend more money on this little guy than most people spend on their dogs in a year. Neutered for aggression, meds for an ear infection, meds for a respiratory infection - FOUR TIMES. And guess what? He's still an aggressive, blind, completely intrusive little jerk >.<

But who could POSSIBLY hate this innocent face?!

Sketch. 8 months old. Big rat boys do not live in tiny hamster cages. Big rat boys do NOT eat rabbit food. So big rat boy came home to me! :D And then promptly got neutered, in an attempt to help him overcome his extreme skittishness/tension.

(being used as a body pillow by his girlfriend, Sammy (RIP))

Splinter. 9 months old. What is it with people putting rats in hamster cages. This particular boy was eating a well-balanced died of cat food, hamster seeds, hay and cat nip. -__- Seriously. And of course, he turns out to be extremely aggressive with other rats. NEUTER!!!!!

And finally, Billy. 7 months old. Yet another hamster cage case. And this time, I actually have pics of what he had been living in.

Who could POSSIBLY think that tiny thing is big enough for anything? Let alone a rat?!

He's definitely happier in a bigger cage. And soon... FRIENDS! ^_^

And if you thought that was the end of it... unfortunately... there's a couple more. >.<

Speedy. 8 months old. He's a Syrian hamster, in case you can't tell. The people who contacted me about him though, were pretty positive he was a horrible RAT! o.O Nope. Hamster. 120% positive.

He thinks he's a rat though.

Cleo. 6 months old. She's a Russian dwarf hamster. I got her, and her 2 brothers together. Her brothers were adopted out to a nice lady who still sends updates sometimes. She such a darling, but loves to bite me the moment my hand goes in 'her' areas. I.E. Her hut, her wheel, anywhere in her bin... She may be little, but Cleo's got sharp teeth >.<

"But you're not angry, right hooman? Here, have a flower! I give you!"

And finally - really this time - the mice.

Dallas and Angel. Both ~ 7 months old. They're up for adoption. Mice anyone? Adorable, hand-tame female mice?

Maverick. No idea how old. Probably over 6 months though. Similar to rats not living in hamster cages, mice shouldn't be kept in tiny critter keepers. Those are for crickets. CRICKETS. He wishes he could go meet the ladies some day. But I keep saying "no". XD

Annnnnnddd. That's all of 'em. Keeps me busy, and motivated to do well at my job. Hehehe.

OMG I LOVE RATS. I used to have two of my own... I had Homer (named because he was so fat) and Charlie (just because) ...Sweetest lil guys ever, and they lived at least 3 or 4 years. R.I.P. Someday i'll get more. I'll have to scan a pic of them sometime.
