Boom, Boom, Boom.

It's starting. All over my neighborhood, people who have absolutely no clue that it's not the 4th yet are setting off fireworks. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE 'em. When they're not spiraling at me. NOT FUN. lol...

Anyway, should I be concerned about the fish this 4th? I know the sound scares the poop out of the cats, but do you think the vibrations are going to stress out my bettas?

I was thinking of moving to the basement for the night if that happens to be the case. Thoughts?

I don't think you need to be concerned. We had an earthquake here 2 years ago and it didn't seem to bother my fish.

Sounds good, I'm just a paranoid fish mom. lol. On a completely unrelated subject, You remember Cameron's glass surfing problem, right? I'm going to be upgrading his tank pretty soon due to that (though I haven't had any problems since I moved his tank back), and I was wondering if you had any tank size/brand recommendations? (the boyfriend will destroy me if i get a 10G for one fish, but I think I can get away with anything from 1.5 to 5... lol.) I know his previous owner had him in a 1.5, so I don't understand why he was acting that way!

I think a 5 gallon would be nice with lots of plants and decorations for him to hide in.

I was doing stuff around my fish room and banging with a hammer.my stock kept doing there thing like nothing. When I asked around, I had a Thai breeder tell me that bettas breed when it rains and there's thunder with rain. He said the fish could be mistaken the construction for rain and thunder
