Question Just a Bowl?

When I got Phoenix (my current betta) I also got a kit called a "Betta Bowl" It had a small fish bowl and a decorative plant. I thiught the plant was a bit tacky so I bought Phoenix a rather large dragon. He still has a goo amount of swimming room. I had another betta quite some years ago with a small fish bowl also and I never had a heater for him. He lived for quite some years. I've talked to Betta Slave about this, but I'd like some more opinions. Thanks!

Believe it or not, but I got him as a party favor at my friend's party. (Don't worry, He was in good health! ) I don't know where they got him and the bowl.

Well, if that is it. It is only a half gallon. You need a bigger tank for a heater.
